Partner Program Agreement

Purpose

This agreement establishes the terms under which organizations participate in the NSCSI Partner Program.

Role of Partners

Partners provide services, technologies, or expertise that may support institutions implementing safety improvements identified through the NSCSI assessment process.

Independent Status

NSCSI certification indicates that an institution has participated in a structured safety assessment and demonstrated alignment with elements of the NSCSI School & Campus Safety Standard at the time of review. Certification reflects conditions at the time of assessment and does not guarantee future safety outcomes.

Institution Responsibilities

Participation in the NSCSI Partner Program does not create a joint venture, employment relationship, or agency relationship between NSCSI and the partner organization.

Partner Responsibilities

Participating partners agree to:

  • Maintain appropriate licensing, certifications, and insurance where applicable.
  • Provide professional services consistent with applicable laws and industry standards.
  • Represent their capabilities accurately when working with institutions participating in the NSCSI framework.
  • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner.

No Exclusive Rights

Participation in the NSCSI Partner Program does not grant exclusive rights to provide services to institutions participating in the NSCSI framework.

Use of Partner Designation

Approved partners may reference their status as an “NSCSI Partner” in marketing materials. The designation may not be used to imply endorsement of specific products or services by NSCSI.

Directory Listing

Partners may be listed in the NSCSI Partner Directory to assist institutions in identifying organizations with relevant safety expertise.

Limitation of Liability

NSCSI shall not be responsible for the performance of services provided by partner organizations. Institutions remain responsible for evaluating and selecting service providers appropriate for their needs.

Program Changes

NSCSI reserves the right to modify partner program requirements, participation criteria, or program structure as the initiative evolves.
