Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in NSCSI programs, including certification assessments, partner programs, and related initiatives.

Program Participation

Participation in NSCSI assessments, certification programs, or partner programs is voluntary. Institutions and organizations may choose whether to engage in any NSCSI program offerings.

Certification Determination

NSCSI certification indicates that an institution has participated in a structured safety assessment and demonstrated alignment with elements of the NSCSI School & Campus Safety Standard at the time of review. Certification does not guarantee future outcomes or the prevention of incidents.

Independent Framework

NSCSI operates as an independent standards and assessment framework. NSCSI does not sell, install, or maintain security systems and does not provide emergency response services.

Partner Program Participation

Partners participating in the NSCSI Partner Program must maintain appropriate licensing, professional qualifications, and ethical standards when working with institutions.

Limitation of Liability

NSCSI shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its website, framework materials, or participation in NSCSI programs.

Modification of Programs

NSCSI reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue programs, standards, certification processes, or participation criteria at its discretion.
